LICENSE TO CARE

The Children’s Trust Fund has awarded the Regional Healthcare Foundation
an area of eleven Bootheel counties, from which the Foundation
will receive 100% of each $25 donation made to the License to Care program.  
The money is used for child-abuse prevention.  Forms may be picked up at the
Dexter License Bureau and at the RHF office.

HEALTHCARE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

This fund was established to assist needy Stoddard County residents
pay outstanding medical bills to Stoddard County healthcare providers.   
Applications are available in the offices of healthcare providers in the county
and at the Regional Healthcare Foundation office.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Regional Healthcare Foundation offers scholarships to encourage Stoddard County
residents entering healthcare professions.

$10,000 Regional Healthcare Foundation scholarship
Stoddard County High School Seniors who will be going into the healthcare profession
may apply for the $10,000 Regional Healthcare Foundation Scholarship. The applicant
must score a minimum of 25 on the ACT.  The applications are available at the
Foundation office.

Julie Minton Memorial Scholarship
All Stoddard County residents who are accepted into a graduate Physical Therapy
program in the state of Missouri will be awarded a $10,000 scholarship in memory of
Julie Minton, Dexter Hospital’s first physical therapist.  Contact the Foundation for more
details.

Scholarship for Non-Traditional Students
Any Stoddard County resident entering the healthcare filed who is 25 years of age or older
and has had their education interrupted for a period of 5 years of longer may apply for this
scholarship.  It may be used at any institution of higher education or technical school.
