| LICENSE TO CARE PROGRAM The Children's' Trust Fund has awarded the Regional Healthcare Foundation an area of eleven Bootheel counties from which the foundation will receive 100% of each $25 donations made to the License to Care Program. The money is used for child-abuse prevention. | SCHOLARSHIPS Providing scholarships for students in Stoddard county who will be going into the health care profession is one of the programs sponsored by the Foundation. Applicants must score a minimum of 25 on the ACT, be pursuing post-secondary training in a college or technical school in a health care related field, must be a legal resident of Stoddard county or attending a Stoddard County school. All applications provided by the Foundation are reviewed and acted upon by a committee composed of persons who reside outside of Stoddard county. The scholarship amount awarded is $10,000 of which $2,500 is awarded the first year and is renewable for three additional years, provided the student remains in a health care related field and maintains a grade point average of 3.25 |
